Trying Another Editor

Not that I have a lot of experience with Blog Editors (MacJournal, BloGTK and web interfaces), the current version of BloGTK doesn't let me add titles. So I'm trying out a Firefox plug-in called ScribeFire.

Seems to support everything that BloGTK does only a little better and since I have Firefox on all my machines (Mac, Linux and Windows) means that it's cross platform as well. Just a click away when I'm on the web.

Yes! I'm Still "Still Alive"

Hmm, it's really been one and a half years since I've posted to this blog? Wow how time flies.

Not much happening in my life that anyone would really be interested in but I'll ramble on anyway.

I'm writing this offline using BloGTK on a Linux box running Mandriva 2008. Mandriva 2008 is undeniably the best distribution/version of Linux I've ever used. I still prefer Apple OS X though.

For much of the past year I've been spending much of my free time on Second Life. For those who still don't know, Second Life is an advanced 3D virtual world where people create "avatars", create things, build, party, dance, chat...well almost everything you can do in real life and a whole lot more. I'll probably write more on it later. Let's just say it can be a real time sink (and a money sink as well.) I've been building a custom home for someone and last night took a break to build a wizard's tower for myself.
