Oral Roberts Finally Called Home

The famous TV fundraiser and evangelist liked to challenge his followers with emotional blackmail, for instance saying things like "If I don't raise $8 million by March, God will call me home."

Well today, God made good on His threat as Oral Roberts died in a Newport Beach, California hospital. Oral Roberts was 91-years-old and died of complications from pneumonia.

Oral Roberts was best known for his fundraising crusades and faith healing. Millions of Christians around the country donated many millions of dollars to him as one of Oral Roberts' teachings was that any money given to him would be returned a hundred fold by God.
